They played in SF a year or two ago (yes, they are still around). My buddy had tickets, but took his girlfriend instead who didn’t appreciate them as much as I do. Clearly, he had been influenced by drugs or booze or pop rocks or something.

I saw them last year. They were great but the venue was a terrible fit. They’re really still well suited to their origins as a club act. It was a music festival with a couple indoor and outdoor venues based around an orchestral concert hall.

They put them in the concert hall, with the fixed seating and such, so nobody could dance or groove to them which really hurt the energy of the performance.
